A Party Pills Primer For The Uninitiated
If you are like most young people, you have probably attended your share of parties and all-night gatherings in the past, and perhaps even do so to this very day. If so, you have probably been no stranger to any one of the substances that people regularly consume at such events. This may include anything from alcohol to a host of substances that skirt dangerously close to the legal boundaries or overstep them totally.
Of course the dangers of illegal drugs are well known by now, and aside from the legal complications–which can be quite considerable–there simply aren’t any reasons that make taking illegal drugs a good idea. If you don’t want to have anything to do with illegal drugs–which is all for the better anyway–but still feel the need to take something that will give you the energy to last until the wee hours of the morning, then party pills may be the next best thing.
Party pills have been touted as the safe and legal alternatives to the illegal drugs that have unfortunately been a familiar part of the party scene. Many of these party pills are commonly marketed with the “herbal” appellation, which makes them particularly attractive to those people who are looking for a natural mood enhancer. Even then, you should be aware that many of these so-called herbal party pills are nothing of the sort, and that their main active ingredients are actually two chemicals known as BZT and TFMMP. These substances are actually chemicals that have been synthesized purely in a lab setting, and they don’t exist in nature in any form.
BZT and TFMMP have effects that are quite similar to ecstasy and amphetamine–which is a feeling of energy and euphoria–although many of its proponents claim that party pills do not cause any of the negative effects of such drugs. That being said, there are people who commonly experience such side effects as sleeplessness, anxiety, nervousness, panic attacks, and even depression, after taking party pills. In some cases, such effects can last as long as several days after taking party pills, making them not that much different from the aforementioned drugs after all–at least for those who are predisposed to such effects.
It is important to keep in mind that party pills are by no means totally harmless substances. Just like any other product that has the ability to cause a physiological and psychological effect, care must be taken before consuming them. If you are in doubt, it would be best to consult with your doctor prior to taking them. And of course party pills should not be taken by minors.
